Dogzilla Studio Information

We love what we do: Telling stories through animation and illustration! From a short movie, comic book or children's book, to tv animation series and feature movies, we know what we're doing! Founded in 2008 by Antonio Eder and Walkir Fernandes, Dogzilla Studio is an animation and illustration studio based in Brazil. For over 13 years, Dogzilla has specialized in 2D animation, bringing one-of-a-kind worlds and characters to life for Film, TV, Advertising, Children's Books, and Comics. Our mission is to create outstanding and completely unique content for young audiences that truly connects with them. we tell stories that evoke emotions, emotions that impact the way we see the world around us and inspire to a change for better. We developed one of the first Brazilian animated TV series called Duckticks and Catapults that which was broadcasted at Cartoon Network, Latin America. Our animated shorts have won recognition and prestige at several international animation and film festivals including Animamundi, Festival de Cinema de Gramado, Green Nation Fest and Eko Film Festival. In addition, we co-produced a pilot series for Sesame Workshop’s YouTube Channel called Hip Hop Howls, featuring SNL alums and The Lonely Island’s stars, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer. As the official studio in charge of the original content for Playkids, we developed and produced some preschool series such as “Junior on the Job” and "I Love to Learn". We are currently in charge of the art direction of the Netflix animation series The Nutty Boy (O Menino Maluquinho), scheduled to premiere in October 2022.
