DOCTORS FOR YOU (DFY), a humanitarian organization formed by a team of highly experienced and specialized doctors from various parts of the world. DFY's focus is to address the most alarming and concerning problems faced by mankind today viz. healthcare, hygiene, disaster response and emergency medical aid. Since its inception in 2007, the organization has been working extensively with the vulnerable communities in six states of India and providing efficient, effective and equitable health care for all. The organization has received several awards like SAARC Youth Award 2009 & British Medical Journal Group Award 2011 "Best Medical Team in Crisis Zone" for its outstanding contribution in the aftermath of disasters. As of now, there are more than 1000 members and 2000 registered volunteers assigned with the organization who are ready to support in crises situations following a disaster. DFY is also engaged in developing world class Disaster Response Team which can respond within 48 hours after any disaster across Indian subcontinent. DFY is also involved in Disaster Preparedness training and Capacity building programs from village level to doctors / polices forces & paramilitary forces throughout India.
