DocFluencer, MDO Information

DocFluCon 2026 in NYC is sold out! DocFluencer, MDO is a coalition of healthcare creators who unite around coordinated campaigns to amplify healthcare awareness, advocacy, and action through social media. Our community is composed of approximately 90% physicians, along with physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, pharmacists, residents, and medical students. What makes DocFluencer, MDO unique is our collaborative model: for every campaign, we invite healthcare influencers across specialties to participate, creating a coordinated social media movement that floods feeds with the same message and call to action. Each month, we launch two campaigns: • A medical awareness campaign focused on educating the public around important health topics. • A healthcare advocacy campaign focused on mobilizing action around issues impacting patients, providers, and the healthcare system. Calls to action have included signing petitions, contacting elected officials, participating in advocacy-focused Instagram Lives, supporting community organizations, and other creative social media initiatives. DocFluencer, MDO is proudly bipartisan and collaborates with organizations, policymakers, creators, and public figures across the political spectrum who are committed to advancing solutions for healthcare professionals and the communities they serve. Our collaborators have included FIGS, Noah Wyle (The Pitt), the American Medical Association, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Hilaria Baldwin, and physician creators including @beachgem10, @docglauc, and many others. Our Advisory Board includes Dr. Betsy Grunch, Dr. Bayo Curry-Winchell, Dr. Fran (@pagingdrfran), Dr. Alok Patel, Dr. Owais Durrani, Dr. Harpreet Tsui, and Dr. Elizabeth Kazarian. By uniting trusted healthcare voices around shared campaigns, DocFluencer, MDO transforms individual influence into collective impact—creating coordinated movements that educate, advocate, and drive action both online and beyond.
