docBeat App is a multiplatform app for secure messaging for Healthcare professionals. It boosts hospital efficiency, saves time (which in turn can save lives), improves care transition, and it ensures all the mentioned is HIPAA compliant. docBeat® was conceived in 2010 when a Cardiologist, Dhiraj Narula MD met a Technology Executive, Sunny Tara at a social event and discussed the challenges of communication in health care. Dr. Narula was frustrated by the challenges of communicating with fellow healthcare professionals, which today still relies largely on answering services, faxes and pagers to connect clinicians to one another. Sunny was astounded that health care still leverages yesterday’s tools to communicate and collaborate among peers in today’s world where people want service and answers “real-time”. “After having created solutions that transformed brands, I was compelled to think about this problem that affects me, my family and everyone I knew. Many people may think of this a communication problem but I think of this as quality of care problem. If my physician can’t get to the right doctor or a right nurse at the right time, me and my loved ones may not be around! This gave me a purpose, a purpose that I feel very passionate about leveraging disruptive technologies to transform how physicians collaborate and communicate to lead a better quality of care”.
