dNet is committed to building systems to serve the needs of the dispatch industry. The dNet source code, upon reaching maturity, will be released to the community of users and developers to encourage the widest adoption and innovation possible. dNet software is designed to be hardware agnostic -- and therefore is capable of running on (and between) all major platforms (PC, Mac, and Linux). dNet software is distributed free of charge. Support for the system may be procured through any dNet accredited agent (who in turn typically contributes a portion of their fees to fund the core dNet development effort). Alternately, a user may choose to rely on their own existing or internal technical support capabilities rather than make use of any dNet accredited professionals. dNet welcomes the participation of any programmers and other software vendors in modifying and enhancing the core dNet service offering. During the beta development phase, such contributions will be coordinated to produce a foundation commercial release that incorporates the best practice contributions of the greater dNet community.
