David M. Upton is a New York based lighting designer experienced in lighting all forms of performing arts, themed entertainment and corporate events. His background garners a theatricalized approach. By thinking out of the box, he pushes elements of realism to make a more visually appealing experience for the audience. In addition, he also has vast production management experience working for regional theatre, large scale lighting project installations, and corporate events both nationally and internationally. He is regarded as a relaxed problem solver who will work with all members of the team to solve design and production challenges as they arise. Combining his design and management skills, David will deliver a highly collaborative, theatrical, and individualized approach unique for each and every project he undertakes.
