The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is one of the largest student-governed organizations based in the United States. NSBE, founded in 1975, supports and promotes the aspirations of collegiate and pre-collegiate students and technical professionals in engineering and technology. With more than 600 chapters and more than 24,000 active members in the U.S. and abroad, NSBE’s mission is “to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."

Founded in 1852, the American Society of Civil Engineers represents more than 160,000 members in 177 countries. ASCE is a leading provider of technical and professional conferences and continuing education, the world’s largest publisher of civil engineering content, and an authoritative source for codes and standards that protect the public.

For more than 100 years the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) has been and still is the leading association for the construction industry. We are the oldest and largest construction association representing general and specialty contractors and represent more than 27,000 firms, including over 6,500 of America’s leading general contractors, over 8,800 specialty-contracting firms, and more than 10,400 service providers and suppliers. We advocate for the interests of the industry, educate members about the latest in construction techniques and technology, and connect construction professionals with one another through a nationwide network of chapters.
