OVER 20 YEARS IN THE MAKING The DJ Company (then called “Hey Mr DJ ”) was founded back in 1998 by Warren Morse. For the first 7 years, it targeted 21st Birthday parties, University Formals and Matric Dances. In 2014, Hey Mr DJ rebranded to The DJ Company, and brought Musician, Composer & DJ Liam Pitcher on board as their Head DJ. Liam has over 10 years experience as a DJ, having playing at hundreds of clubs, festivals, weddings, events, private functions & birthdays, and has independently worked with the top venues and coordinators in and around the Western Cape. NEW ADDITIONS In 2017, The DJ Company saw the addition of its newest member, Jacky Masutha. Jacky has over 7 years experience as a DJ, and has since administered bookings for the company, and performed at over 100 events. In 2020, Warren stepped away from the company, and Liam was appointed managing director. Jacky has since been appointed head DJ. Together, they are reinventing the look and feel of the brand, and are continually striving to give their clients nothing but the best experience.
