Sunseeker is the world’s leading brand for luxury performance motor yachts. Originally named Poole Power Boats, the company was founded by brothers Robert and John Braithwaite in 1969. The company changed its name to Sunseeker International in 1985 and has since become a global icon, with every Sunseeker the result of an uncompromising and unmatched approach to design, craftsmanship and performance. From its manufacturing base in Poole, Dorset on the south coast of England, Sunseeker employs c.2,000 people and produces around 150 boats every year. The Sunseeker range sets new standards and benchmarks for luxury performance motor yachts. From the majestic Yacht and Superyacht ranges through to the timeless Performance and our very latest Ocean range, each Sunseeker is the pursuit of perfection. Perched on the edge of the English Channel lies the city of Plymouth, where we established our home in 1965. Today Princess shipyards cover an area of over 1.1 million square feet, an area rich in British maritime heritage. In fact, South Yard, where our X Class Superyachts are constructed, is a former naval yard dating back to the 17th century. From the outset, our goal has been to meticulously sculpt our yachts around our owners’ enjoyment of them. Such dedication and attention to detail resonates deeply with our Plymouth craftsmen. Over 3,000 people, each possessing a mastery of their skill, fastidiously realise this vision in our shipyards. The history of Azimut yachts officially began in 1969, when the young university student Paolo Vitelli started a small sailing boat rental business by founding Azimut SRL. In a short time, the iconic AZ 43' Bali was born. The dream came true. The company has grown a lot since then, but the mission has remained the same: to define new stylistic and industrial standards to create amazing yachts. Thanks to an unmistakable design contaminated with the world of art and architecture, our boats can be recognized even from far away on the horizon.
