From its headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina, the company services an international client base of top interior designers and architects in the residential, hospitality and contract segments. The company’s designs regularly find placement in high-profile homes, restaurants and historic restorations from Beverly Hills to the Seychelles and consistently garner acclaim from top design publications such as Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, and World of Interiors. Each of our company’s products is bench-made and hand-finished at our 180,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Charleston, which houses the talented engineers, sales and marketing professionals, designers, and craftsmen who make up our team. The Urban Electric Co.’s catalogued collection includes nearly 300 interior and exterior fixtures designed by in-house Creative Director Michael Amato as well as several outside collaborations with some of the most renowned architects and designers in the industry including Steven Gambrel, Mark Maresca, Martin Brudnizki, Ken Fulk and Nickey Kehoe. Each fixture is made-to-order to their clients exact specifications from an endless array of customizations from color to cord to finish.

A blend of successful Midwest electrical distributors, Holt Electrical, Richards Electric, Springfield Electric, Pepco and Echo Group Inc., Echo Electric is a full-line distributor offering electrical products, equipment and services to electrical contractors, customers in the industrial and institution facilities. We offer specialized solutions such panel and switchboard assembly, control panel design and assembly, cable management services, digital solutions, utility sub-station packages, and industrial solutions. Holt Electrical, Richards Electric and Springfield Electric rebranded as Echo Electric in April 2025, while Pepco rebranded in June 2025 and Echo Group Inc (Echo Electric Supply) rebranded in March 2026.
