Dixie Primary Care aims to provide quality comprehensive medical care and to serve as your medical home: your gateway to the rest of the medical services in the St George community. As an Internal Medicine group, we are specially trained to solve puzzling diagnostic problems and can handle simple to severe chronic illnesses and situations which may be occurring at the same time. We specialize in providing disease screening and treatment based on national professional guidelines and reduction of risk factors for chronic illness. We specialize in the prevention and treatment of disease conditions such as (but not limited to) diabetes, hypertension, thyroid abnormalities, osteoporosis, heart disease, anxiety and depression, obesity, autoimmune diseases and musculoskeletal disease including musculoskeletal pain conditions, bursitis and osteoarthritis. We also do skin cancer screening, liquid nitrogen treatment and minor surgeries such as biopsies. Caring for adolescents through the senior years, we take a comprehensive approach to preventative health care and emphasize an understanding of wellness by maintaining good health through regular physical examinations, a healthy diet, proper nutrition, and regular exercise or Qi-gong. We strongly believe that if our patients have an understanding of how the body works and some disease processes, they would be very capable in maintaining good health without a lot of medications. We provide you with preventative care, performing evaluations for any acute of chronic problems and managing / coordinating all of your medical needs with different subspecialties in the area. bldg2
