Divisi Strings has been delighting audiences and elevating events with its live music performances for over 16 years. Established in 2006 at the University of Houston, four talented friends came together to form the original "Divisi String Quartet." Shelli Mathews, the owner, envisioned a more expansive future: a music entertainment company comprising exceptional classical musicians performing at their highest potential. Today, Divisi Strings boasts an impressive performance schedule of 800+ engagements per year, enchanting guests at weddings, parties, showers, galas, proposals, bar and bat mitzvahs, recordings, concerts, film, non-profit organizations, and corporate events throughout Houston, Texas, and nationwide. With innovative ensembles like Amp'd String Quartet and Collide, Divisi Strings has paved the way for classically-trained musicians to shine. Combining classical instruments like violin and cello with dynamic DJs, Divisi Strings offers the premier pop string ensembles, featuring the most talented string musicians and DJs.
