District Development & Restoration, LLC (“DDR”) is a real estate investment and management firm that was established in 2010 to capitalize on the strength and expansion of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area multi-family housing, condominium and office markets, which exhibit some of the strongest demographic trends in the nation. The principals founded the platform with a vision to restore the aesthetics of the District’s historic grandeur. DDR actively searches for core, core-plus and value-added investments in prime downtown DC locations. The investments target significant returns on capital from a paradigm shift of young urban professionals increasingly willing to pay premium rents in up-and-coming neighborhoods with easy walking access to Metro transportation, shared vehicle networks and retail amenities. DDR utilizes its broad network of operators, brokers, investors and service providers to identify off-market or overlooked opportunities that will generate superior risk-adjusted returns. DDR has closed on over $6.5 Million in acquisitions over the past 18 months, and is actively searching for new investments in the D.C. Metro Area.
