Discovery Foundation Information

Promoters of Discovery for Teens - for 14-18 year olds - and Discovery for Kids - for kids at intermediate 'middle' school years 7 and 8. Both programmes are life and academic skills based. Discovery for Teens is a 7 day residential programme and Discovery for Kids is a weekend programme. Safe and supportive, led by trained staff at a ratio of 1:4 DISCOVERY helps teens - Increase self-esteem, confidence, personal responsibility, self-motivation - Develop a sense of purpose and direction life - Improve attitude towards life & communication • 94% of Discovery Teens increase their level of self-confidence and courage • 96% of past participants report an increase in self-motivation • 95% of Discovery Parents say their teens have lifted their overall attitude towards life and self-accountability
