The Arc is the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. With approximately 140,000 members affiliated through over 600 state and local chapters across the nation, we are on the front lines to ensure that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families have the support and services they need to be fully engaged in their communities. The Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with I/DD and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. Disability Rights Advocates (DRA) is one of the leading non-profit disability rights legal centers in the nation. For twenty years, its landmark lawsuits have set legal precedents and enforced civil rights for millions of people with disabilities throughout the country. DRA seeks to remedy systemic problems through class action and other high-impact litigation across the nation. Its cases have improved the lives of millions of people with a variety of disabilities.
