Direct Health Access Information

We seek to overcome the barriers that prevent our community members from seeking health care services by remodel health care such that we bring doctors, insurance providers, and other resources directly to them. We take on these barriers, such as transportation and time, that prevent our community from seeking proper medical help through: •organizing health care camps alongside pre-exisiting community events, which bring health care professionals to the patients; •bridging the gap between insurance providers and consumers; •educating individuals about diseases that are at a risk for, healthy lifestyle habits and tips and the importance of preventative health care through native langauges of those communities. We believe that these barriers can be overcome if we increase awareness within our communities to address their fear and avoidance of the "white coat" of doctors, have a stronger push for seeking preventative health care and making health care more convenient.
