Our privately held company was founded in 1945 as a custom coil maker for the radio manufacturers clustered around the Chicago area. Today we produce inductors for a long list of customers in telecommunications, computers, instrumentation and consumer electronics. Many are standard, off-the-shelf products. But we also provide custom components designed to meet customers' specific requirements. Our basic product lines include: Surface mount RF inductors Surface mount power inductors Tunable and fixed RF inductors EMI filters LED driver magnetics Coilcraft's worldwide headquarters are in Cary, Illinois, 30 miles northwest of Chicago's O'Hare Airport. European headquarters are located in Cumbernauld, Scotland, near Glasgow. Production centers are strategically positioned throughout the world. Our diversity of locations offers several advantages to our customers. Engineering prototypes are shipped in a matter of days. Our domestic plants can quickly provide your pilot run requirements. And then full scale production can be done at an appropriate offshore plant for maximum economy and convenience to your own facilities. Manufacturing capabilities are duplicated at several locations, assuring you a steady supply of components.

Our Story We opened our first facility in Redcliff in 2007 in order to bring a higher level of service to the oil & gas service companies that are the backbone of the Alberta economy. In 2010 we opened our second facility in Calgary and in 2012 we now have over 28,000 sq/ft of manufacturing space in Calgary. In order to maintain a high level of service we have also expanded our services to include downhole frac tools and custom tool design specifically for the horizontal drilling and stimulation sectors. In 2012 we introduced our own line of coil tubing injectors to the market with great success. This allows us to offer a longer running life without major repairs thereby reducing the customers overall costs. Building on our success with the injectors & downhole tools, we added our line of coil tubing units and pumping equipment to our core offerings in 2014. Coil Solutions and its team of dedicated employees will strive to put the customers’ needs as the highest priority above all else. But be assured we will not compromise safety for expedience.
