The Children Heritage Foundation (tCHF) is a 501 c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the education and development of Haiti youth. The challenges Haiti faces are well documented. As a country, it suffers from a history of joblessness and has recently suffered from hurricanes and a major earthquake. But there are lesser known stories of those who would help change the cycle of unemployment and illiteracy, who have a vision of a beautiful country, where the people have a brighter future. tCHF is taking a step in realizing that vision by offering an alternative path for the young people of Haiti. tCHF has initiated educational programs at the elementary and post secondary levels as well as community development initiatives through its library program. All the programs have one objective in common that is to enhance the lives of people through education and information.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 CLINICAL AND PATIENT EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION fosters communication between healthcare professionals and patients and works to improve practitioner competence and patient adherence to appropriate treatment approaches. Founded in 2010, the purpose of Clinical and Patient Educators Association (CPEA) was to develop quality, innovative education for healthcare practitioners and the patient communities they serve. CPEA’s educational aim is to include clinical subject matter focusing on research, medical education and other content to improve practice and quality of patient care. Each activity is designed to achieve measurable results for practitioners. CPEA brings clinical practitioners and patients together. CPEA has been reviewed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) and awarded accreditation as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.

The Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidology (ACCL) is an independent certifying organization that has developed standards and an examination in the field of Clinical Lipidology for the growing number of healthcare professionals who are involved in lipid management. ACCL provides recognition and distinction in the field of Clinical Lipidology for healthcare professionals who successfully credential and complete a written examination. Certification by the ACCL provides benefits to both the practitioner and the profession by: Improving the quality of patient care Setting benchmarks of clinical competency for lipid specialists Encouraging ongoing learning and improvement required for professional excellence over a lifetime of practice Helping healthcare professionals achieve recognition of their specialized training and qualifications Enhancing the credibility of the healthcare professionals and the specialty of Clinical Lipidology in the medical community To learn more about our exams including eligibility and requirements, click on one of the Certification Pathways below: CLS Renewal of Certification (ROC) The ACCL requires that all CLS participate in ROC every 10 years to maintain active status. Those certified in 2007 have been provided with a 1 year extension to apply. If you were certified in 2007or 2008, the application deadline to apply is October 1, 2018.
