DINADI is a transparent, sustainable and ethical knitwear brand. DINADI’s mission is to combine authentic social and environmental responsibility with beautiful and thoughtfully designed knitwear. DINADI is a Swedish brand but convinced that social entrepreneurship is the way to fuel sustainable development, we own and operate our own production facility in Nepal. Having our base in Nepal allows us to maximise our social impact and our ability to be transparent and ethical in all aspects of our brand. DINADI directly hires and trains women affected by gender discrimination and poverty to hand knit sweaters and accessories in high end fibres. Each knitter is paid a living wage for the work they do. DINADI’s hand knitted products are crafted by hand in our knitter’s homes, providing each employee a flexible work environment to fit their individual needs. The entire lifecycle of each garment is considered as we work to close the loop to attain full circularity. We believe that we are responsible and accountable for the end life of each product we produce which is why every garment is made of wool mono fibres that are 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable. We believe our ethical responsibilities also extend to the animals that provide the fibres we use and choose to work with sourcing partners that value animal welfare and the elimination of animal cruelty.
