Dimple was founded in 1997 by Damien James the day after graduating from university with a podiatry degree. Back then, the company was called Aged Foot Care. By mid 2017 it grew to be the leading podiatry specialist for aged care in Australia, treating over 48,000 elders each year, and employing over 65 team members across VIC, SA, NSW, QLD, WA and the ACT. In August 2017, Dimple was acquired by Zenitas Healthcare Limited (ASX:ZNT) and has since expanded its services to include physiotherapy and occupational therapy. It now delivers mobile healthcare services not only into residential aged care but also the community; into homes and the workplace, and provides allied health services to aged, disability, corporate and private clients. Dimple has grown to a team of over 150 practitioners and Support Hub staff nationally who strive to embrace the company's values of Do Right, Be Loved and Go Beyond with everything they do. In the residential aged care setting, Dimple remains the only podiatry service provider that guarantees long term continuity and reliability. This allows elders and staff to build long-term, rewarding relationships with the Dimple team, and achieve our vision ‘To change the way the world values and celebrates our elders one smile at a time.’ The company was included in the BRW Fast 100 in 2012, 2013 and 2014 as well as the Smart Company Smart50 awards in 2011, 2012 and 2013. This record growth was achieved not by focusing on signing up new customers but by getting the right team in place, supporting them fully and helping them grow though comprehensive development programs.
