Dimmick's is the Home of Video Job Ads Online. We are the first recruitment consultancy to offer video job ads as standard, at no extra cost to our clients. WHY USE DIMMICK’S? A century ago you’d write a job ad, put it in the paper or industry press, alongside a hundred other ads and await the response. A week ago you’d write a job ad, put it in the paper, industry press or on an online job board, alongside thousands of other ads and await the response. All these ads tend to look the same; especially if they’re via a recruiter, as recruiters tend to remove any detail, leaving only hundreds upon hundreds of identikit job descriptions. Even client’s direct ads become very, very similar all talking of a great location, cracking environments, lovely staff, top end technology and a great social side to the business. What we found though, was that job seekers read this repeated blurb so many times, that they never really knew whether to believe it or not. That’s why Dimmick’s was started; to give our clients the chance to showcase their locale, the buzz in the office and most importantly of all the staff that work there. What better way to hear about the new job you’re going for than seeing the manager you’ll be reporting into describing it.
