Di Lorenzo's was founded with the ideals of offering the freshest food and best service with integrity and consistency. In 1978, Chef Mark DiLorenzo began catering in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Having a passion for the food service industry, Chef Mark graduated from Westmoreland County Community College with a degree in Culinary Arts. After being awarded Outstanding Apprentice of the Year, Graduating First in Class and numerous culinary competition awards from New York City, Pittsburgh, PA, Philadelphia, PA, West Virginia and surrounding areas, Chef Mark married the love of his life, Darlene. As the years progressed Mark gained more & more experience by working in hotels, country clubs and institutions. In January of 2000 the Di Lorenzo's saw a need in the Shenango Valley for quality catering with an upscale deli and bakery in a family-friendly atmosphere. By March, Di Lorenzo's Catering and Deli opened in Hermitage, PA and quickly out grew the facility and moved in 2002 to their present location in the Sharpsville Plaza. Today, Di Lorenzo's is a vibrant part of the community. Whether catering an elegant wedding, inpatient meals at a local hospital, foods for vending services or serving customers in the deli or private banquet room, the Di Lorenzo Family is committed to serving the finest foods with impeccable service.
