Arapahoe Basin Ski Area (also known as A-Basin or just The Basin) opened in 1946 and has become a legendary ski and ride destination in the west. While we're known for our expert terrain, there are trails for every level of skier or rider at the Basin. Half of our mountain is above timberline with open bowl skiing and snowboarding that generally opens in October and closes in June. WE WANT YOU TO JOIN OUR TEAM AT ARAPAHOE BASIN! We want you because you have exceptional guest service skills, you are passionate about skiing or riding and because you want to spend a season at one of the most well-known and locally loved ski areas in Colorado. We want you to share your passion for the mountain lifestyle with each and every one of our guests and we want to see you excel in the position you take for the season. Hi neighbor, thanks for being a part of Summit County, a statutory county in Colorado. Incorporated in 1861, Summit County is home to approximately 30,000 full-time residents, with a visitor population that can boom to over 100,000 on weekends. While we're best known for world-class skiing and snowboarding, the County is also a hub for the arts and summer recreation. Over 85% of Summit County is your public lands, meaning there is space to explore the best of what the High Country has to offer. Fun fact: There are three Summit counties in the U.S. The other two are in Utah and Ohio!
