The BDI is the umbrella organisation of German industry and industry-related service providers. It represents 39 industrial sector federations and has 15 regional offices in the German federal states. The BDI speaks for more than 100,000 private enterprises employing around 8 million people. Industry is the basis of the German economy and plays a decisive role in determining the future competitiveness of our country. The BDI relays the interests of German industry to political representatives in Germany, Europe and worldwide.

▶️ BVMW - The German Association for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises ✔️ The BVMW is a politically independent association which caters for all commercial branches and professions, and represents the interests of small and medium-sized businesses in politics, with administrative authorities, with trade unions and with major companies. Together with our alliance of more than 30 partner associations, we represent more than 900.000 voices. The BVMW manages a network of representative offices in more then 35 countries. Moreover our association co-operates with many national partner associations throughout the world and has agreements with numerous associations. Within these co-operations the BVMW has an extensive and fruitful exchange of knowledge concerning common projects and regularly organizes international conferences on various topics dealing with foreign affairs. The VDA nationally and internationally promotes the interests of the entire German automotive industry and relies on a strong power base of members consisting of automobile manufacturers, suppliers and manufacturers of trailers, special bodies and buses. Unlike in many other countries, they are organized under one association, resulting in decisive advantages for the German automotive industry through direct dialogue and rapid decision-making. Our main objective is to support modern and sustainable mobility. In the interest of all its members, the VDA is active in all areas of the motor traffic industry: economic and transport policy, technical legislation, quality assurance and taxation. The environment and climate protection are of particular importance for us. The VDA is also the organizer of international motor shows for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, which always draw the great interest of the experts and public alike.
