Dignity is a gift that every human being has been given which can not be taken away. That one statement, more than anything, signifies what our company is about, and what our clients are about. We are not out to make as much money as we can, or make promises we can't keep, or take advantage of people's lack of knowledge. We just want to serve people who we respect, be appreciated for what we do, hold our heads up high at the end of the day and at the same time make a living. The president of the company, Raj Lamba, created Dignity Computer Solutions in the summer of 1998 to satisfy the need to feel appreciated by people he respects. The concept of achieving excellence first, and receiving rewards from your achievements latter is key to how our company operates. Here are some more principles which define our company: We will never try to sell something to someone or try to convince someone of something that they need which we can offer. Instead, we present our opinion and if there is something that we can offer which is beneficial to both parties, we do business. We will try to never promise things which we can not deliver. If we are ever in a situation where we have not been able to fulfill our promises, we do whatever it takes to correct the problem to everyone's satisfaction. We will never use our energy to point fingers at people or equipment. Our time is always spent on constructive solutions. If a client does not wish to pay for our services, we will not charge them. If this happens often, we will no longer offer our services to that client. Everybody associated with our company, whether they are creditors, clients, contractors, or employees will be treated with honour and respect. We will always consider their problems, our problems. In September 2001, Raj Lamba started to take these ideals which he had been practicing for 5 years, and focus his attentions on developing DCS full time.
