DigiTek is a father (Rich) and son (William) business that started in 2018. During this time, we were working on small projects, such as installing home theater systems, home network systems, and home security systems. We knew this would help the company grow, but it wasn't our destiny. Our background comes from the Cable TV industry. Rich has over 40 years of experience in the business. He started in the early 80s as an installer and progressed his way up the ladder to most recently holding the position of Vice President for a multi-million-dollar corporation. Rich has definitely seen a lot in the business and adds a ton of value to the company with the knowledge and experience he has gained over the years. William started in the business in 2015 and for the first three years of his career, he worked as an installer for DirecTV then Comcast. He wanted to learn more about the industry, so he found a job splicing COAX. This helped him progress into learning Outside-Plant Engineer work (OSP). William knew fiber was the future of this industry, so he decided to start learning how to splice and test fiber during his free time. This led him to the opportunity of having a splicing contract with CableCom and Sefnco (Prime Contractors for Comcast) in 2018. DigiTek was brought up with the customer and employees in mind. Our goal is to create a company where our employees feel valued and rewarded for their efforts, all while maintaining the finest quality standards for the customer.
