SoundTraxx has been designing and manufacturing the latest in state-of-the-art sound systems for the discriminating model railroader since 1990. Our products have evolved from our first offering of the Hyperlight lighting system to a wide range of decoders and accessories, as well as a surround sound system. In addition to designing and manufacturing these items in Durango, CO, we record and engineer sounds directly from the prototype. In 2004, we launched Blackstone Models as a division of SoundTraxx to develop our own line of ready-to-run HOn3 models and accessories.

Digitrax is a full time professional company dedicated to bringing superior engineering, quality and affordability to model railroaders everywhere. The first time we ran a digital command control system we knew we couldn't live without one but, we couldn't afford it either. Digitrax decoders and command stations are our answers for model railroaders who want to enjoy the excitement of DCC without taking out a second mortgage. The system is affordable and flexible. You can get started in DCC for a small initial expenditure with our Zephyr, Empire Builder or Chief Starter Sets and then expand as your needs and interests dictate. Hornby Railways is a British model railway brand. Its roots date back to 1901 in Liverpool, when founder Frank Hornby received a patent for his Meccano construction toy. The first clockwork train was produced in 1920. In 1938, Hornby launched its first 00 gauge train. In 1964, Hornby and Meccano were bought by their competitor, Tri-ang, is presently majority owned by British turnaround specialist Phoenix Asset Management.
