Opened in 2017, Different Trains Gallery is located six miles east of downtown Atlanta, in Decatur’s Old Depot District. DTG offers original, contemporary art by local and internationally recognized artists, as well as personalized and professional art consulting services. Partners Sarah Garvin and Shawn Vinson, the gallery director, have a combined 60+ years of experience in the art world. Garvin is an art history major who spent many years in the corporate world before returning to her art roots. Vinson is a board member of the Decatur Arts Alliance and ran the Vinson Gallery from 1998 until 2008.
