In ARTIS inspireren en stimuleren wij een breed publiek verantwoordelijk met natuur om te gaan. ARTIS met haar 25 rijksmonumenten bestaat uit een historisch stadspark, het bekroonde museum ARTIS-Micropia en het Artisplein met het aanliggende ARTIS-Groote Museum, ARTIS-café restaurant de Plantage en de ARTIS-Studio. ARTIS, dat sinds 1838 bestaat, is een stichting en een officieel erkend goed doel met het CBF-Keur en de ANBI-status. Er zijn ongeveer 160 medewerkers in dienst van ARTIS. Daarnaast zetten jaarlijks ruim 300 vrijwilligers en 80 stagiairs zich in voor ARTIS. Er zijn op iedere afdeling stageplaatsen beschikbaar voor studenten van allerlei opleidingen.

Ouwehands Dierenpark is gevestigd op de historische Grebbeberg en bestaat al sinds 1932. Jaarlijks genieten hier bijna één miljoen gasten van een unieke combinatie van mooie, bedreigde diersoorten, een groene omgeving en spannende speelmogelijkheden voor kinderen.
