DICE Information

DICE (Deep Innovation Creation Ecosystem) is a rapidly evolving entrepreneurial community in Japan with the goal of “producing DeepTech unicorns from the University of Tokyo”. Created in 2021 Autumn, selected students with high motivation and academic levels are working hard to brush up on their visions and business plans. This community is changing Japan’s start-up environment by cooperating with various influential actors in and outside Japan. Students are making full use of the best access to cutting-edge technology and knowledge in Japan, financial resources (around 8 million euros invested for 3 years), and the unique industry-academia collaboration network. We are open to international cooperation and networking to pursue a global impact together.
