Athletes in Action (AIA) is a global pioneer in sports ministry, serving the Total Athlete—body, mind, and spirit. We help athletes and coaches experience holistic transformation by rooting their identity in Christ and calling them to live for something greater than wins and losses. At Athletes United, we exist to unite the hearts of coaches and athletes with Jesus Christ—cultivating leadership, confidence, identity, and purpose that lasts far beyond the game. Currently located at Southern Methodist University (SMU) and the University of Texas at Austin, we walk alongside collegiate athletes and coaches, offering spiritual mentorship, discipleship, and a life-giving community rooted in faith. From locker rooms to life transitions, we are present in the everyday moments that shape a leader’s character and calling. Our work is guided by a deep respect for all people, beliefs, and backgrounds. While we are grounded in the Christian faith, we approach every relationship with humility, love, and honor—never with pressure, always with invitation. Whether it’s through Bible studies, baptisms, prayer huddles, team chapels, or simply showing up when it matters most—Athletes United is here to see lives transformed by the power of Jesus and supported by authentic community.
