Dharmafly Information

A social design and web software company based in Brighton, UK. Dharmafly was born of the intention to wield the web - the greatest medium the world has known - for good works in the world. We've aimed to straddle the edge of possibilities with web technology, be an advocate for open source and help people achieve their vision through active listening, meticulous craft and creativity. We've strived to be a company that supports not only our clients and workers but also the wider community, by establishing city-based projects and programmes. We've won awards for our work and created products for the BBC, The Guardian, the Science Museum and social enterprises like Participle. Our main technologies are JavaScript, (for instance, HTML5 scripting on the front-end and Node.js on the back-end), along with Python and Django, and to a lesser extent other languages and frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Perl, XSLT and PHP.
