DFL Games is an independent game studio founded in 2016 as a home for original ideas, thoughtful design, and end-to-end product execution. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a studio that has shipped multiple successful titles across tabletop, card, and experimental formats. From early ideation through production, launch, and post-release iteration, DFL Games focuses on building experiences that are approachable, engaging, and built to last. Our work spans games for all ages, professional-grade tools for competitive players, and custom game-based experiences designed for real-world teams and organizations. Highlights Raised over $10,000 via Kickstarter Published multiple titles including Henchmen! and 9Lives: Don’t Kill the Cat Nominated for Best in Game at the Boston Festival of Indie Games (2016) Guest panelist at Gen Con 2016, mentoring new designers on breaking into the industry Guest hosted for a top-partnered Twitch streamer 4th place finish in the Colorado Lottery Game Jam Designed tabletop and digital products used by Fortune 500 companies for training, onboarding, and team building How we work DFL Games blends game design, graphic design, and product delivery discipline. We prototype rapidly, collaborate with artists and contractors worldwide, manage vendor and print relationships, and treat games as living products rather than one-off releases. Our toolkit includes Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, AI-assisted workflows, and 3D modeling for design and visualization. We use Teams, Slack, and Discord to operate fully remote. Marketing and analytics are powered by Webflow, Google Analytics, Mouseflow, and automation tools like Zapier and Mailchimp, with data tracked and cleaned using Excel and SQL. At its core, DFL Games is where creative curiosity meets structured execution. It is a studio built to create things people love, things people use, and sometimes things that exist simply because making them is fun.
