Dewkent Pty Ltd is made up of two qualified builders, one supervising foreman, qualified carpenters, and highly skilled labourers. We have been building quality renovations and new homes in Sydney for more than 25 years. During this period we are proud to say that we have not had one defect or call back on any project. The current building licencing board requires that building companies achieve a certain number of points each year to maintain industry standards. Points are awarded to companies for various criteria one of these is an excellence in building which Dewkent duly receives each year. Rob Roberts is personally on site every day, working on the tools or detailing the project to make sure things run smoothly. Queries do not have to be relayed via a foreman or project manager but are dealt directly by Rob on site as they arise. From our extensive experience his presence on site leads to a superior finish and overall cost saving when contracts are let on a cost plus basis. We own medium sized excavators with rock saws, rippers, a grapple and state of the art rock hammer recently designed by ATLAS copco making rock excavation quicker than ever. We have all our own scaffolding for a medium sized job and formwork frames, braces and jacks to pour a suspended slab of 250m. This is of great benefit to clients as once on site there are no hire charges for scaffolding or formwork and the excavation costs are massively reduced as we charge minimal machine hire on cost plus contracts. Dewkent employs two qualified machine operators whose time will be billed, however machine hire rates basically just cover wear and tear and servicing. All larger projects are undertaken on a cost plus basis.
