Devon Tree Services Ltd Information

With over 45 years of experience, Devon Tree Services is one of the South West’s most trusted names in arboriculture. Based in Devon and operating throughout the region, we deliver a full range of commercial and private tree surgery, arboricultural consultancy, and ecological services, tailored to the needs of developers, planners, architects, landowners, and homeowners. Our professional team of qualified tree surgeons carries out all work in accordance with BS 3998:2010 Tree Work Recommendations, ensuring best practices in safety, tree health, and environmental care. From complex dismantles and crown reductions to veteran tree management and woodland maintenance, we take pride in delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions. In addition to operational tree work, we provide detailed arboricultural consultancy, helping clients navigate planning applications, tree surveys (BS5837), tree risk management, development constraints, and long-term tree care planning. Our consultants bring over 50 years of combined industry experience, offering a commercially aware, pragmatic approach that supports both compliance and conservation. Our in-house ecology team enhances our services further—conducting habitat assessments, protected species surveys, and biodiversity net gain strategies. This integrated approach ensures clients receive cohesive, cost-effective advice across arboriculture and ecology, particularly in development and land management projects. Whether you're a local authority needing ongoing tree inspections, a developer working through the planning process, or a private client seeking professional tree care, we’re here to help—safely, professionally, and sustainably.
