Devon & Cornwall Food Action (DCFA) is a volunteer‑powered charity reducing food poverty and food waste across Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall. Since 2010, we’ve rescued surplus food from supermarkets, producers and suppliers and redistributed it to individuals, families and partner organisations, ensuring good food never goes to waste. We operate a sustainable, community‑driven model that provides long‑term affordable food solutions rather than traditional foodbank parcels. With strong logistics, a warehouse, refrigeration facilities and vans, we support thousands of people each year while helping businesses cut waste costs and amplify their social impact. We collaborate with retailers, manufacturers, growers, public services and community organisations to deliver meaningful, measurable change. Together, we’re building a greener, fairer regional food system where no one goes hungry.
