Devon Coombs LLC Information

Most executive education comes from people who stopped practicing years ago. Most consultants never bother translating what they know into something they can teach. Devon Coombs LLC was founded on the belief that both problems have the same solution: never stop doing both. We are an executive education and advisory firm built on a simple conviction: the best practitioners teach, and the best teachers practice. Our training programs are built from live client engagements, not recycled case studies. Our advisory work is sharpened by the rigor of teaching complex ideas to sharp, skeptical audiences. That feedback loop is what makes the work better on both sides, and it is what our clients actually feel in the room. The firm operates across three lanes: 1. Executive Education: Live training, workshops, and AI enablement programs for finance and business teams. We build internal capability, not dependency on outside consultants. Every session blends current research and frameworks with implementation playbooks our clients can execute the following week. 2. Thought Leadership: Published in Financial Executives Journal, the Ambition Aligned newsletter and YouTube channel, and the forthcoming book The 10 Laws of Finance. What we learn from our clients and students becomes the content; what we publish sharpens what we deliver. 3. Strategic Advisory: Engagements with senior leaders at multi-billion dollar public companies, high-growth private firms, and early-stage startups on organizational strategy, go-to-market execution, AI workflow integration, and finance transformation. Founded by Devon Coombs, CPA, MBA. Five years at Google Cloud as Controller for Google Cloud Marketplace and the Accounting SME on the AI Deals Desk. Big 4 foundation at Deloitte. Over 30 university courses delivered across eight years as a finance lecturer.
