Devon County Council is a local authority in the south west of the United Kingdom serving a population of over 750,000. It has an annual budget of approximately £1.3 billion and employs thousands of staff. Devon County Council provides a range of services across the county including education, social care, highways, waste and recycling, economic regeneration, library services (via Libraries Unlimited), registration services, transport and a range of support services including finance, ICT, legal support and personnel.

The National Lottery Community Fund has a critical role to play in supporting communities to unleash their energy and potential so they can get to where they want to be. We are one of 12 distributors of National Lottery funding. We work closely with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the license holder for The National Lottery, currently Allwyn, to distribute National Lottery funding across the UK.
