Developments for Africa Information

We are registered with the secretary of state of Texas under filing # 801160061as, GREEN DEVELOPMENTS FOR AFRICA, with the sole purpose of providing aid in partnership, (so that the villagers have a stake in the project), with remote villages in Africa. We are classified as Tax Exempt per the rules of the Internal Revenue Service of the United States of America as a 501 (c) (3) entity. This means any donations given to us are deductible when you file your taxes. Our Employer Identification Number (EIN) is 27-0871226. Our stated goals are: -assist villagers to raise their standard of living via, income level, healthcare, clean environment, adequate food and availability of education to youth - Reduce the self evacuation of youth from villages to cities where, because of unemployment, they end up in the wrong side of the law. - Provide women with an alternate source of income to help create empowerment. - make electricity available which will foster development. On January 4th, 2013, we filed an amendment to change our name to, "DEVELOPMENTS FOR AFRICA" to avoid the restriction that the word GREEN seamed to infer.
