Deutschsprachige Gesellschaft für IOL-Implantation, Interventionelle und Refraktive Chirurgie (DGII) Information

Die Deutschsprachige Gesellschaft für Intraokularlinsen-Implantation, interventionelle und refraktive Chirurgie (DGII) wurde im Jahr 1986 als europäische, deutschsprachige Gesellschaft von Katarakt- und refraktiven Chirurgen gegründet. Die DGII fördert als gemeinnütziger Verein die wissenschaftliche und praktische Tätigkeit auf dem Gebiet der intraokularen Implantation von Linsen sowie der Katarakt- und refraktiven Chirurgie des Auges durch Austausch wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse und praktischer Erfahrungen und durch Anregungen wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten. Die DGII hat auch zum Ziel, über die Doppelmitgliedschaft in der European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) internationale Kontakte zu vertiefen. Dank des Engagements der Europäer gelang es, ab 1996 gleichberechtigt mit den US-Amerikanern die auflagenstärkste ophthalmochirurgische wissenschaftliche Zeitschrift, das Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (Impact Factor 2.285 im Jahr 2008) herauszugeben. Welcome to the German Society for Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (GSCRS): The German Society for Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (GSCRS) was founded in 1986 as a European, German-speaking society of cataract and refractive surgeons. The GSCRS promotes non-profit association of scientific and practical activity in the field of intraocular lenses and implantation of cataract and refractive surgery of the eye through the exchange of scientific knowledge and practical experience and suggestions of scientific papers. The GSCRS also deepen international contacts to aim on the dual membership in the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS). Thanks to the commitment of Europeans succeeded from 1996 equal footing with the Americans, the largest circulation ophthalmic surgical scientific journal, the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (impact factor 2.285 in 2008) surrendered.
