Valley Charter Schools is a TK-8 tuition-free local public charter school founded in 2010. Valley Charter Elementary school is a TK-5 school with 300 students. Valley Charter Middle School is a 6-8 school with under 300 students. Our mission is to provide a holistic and exceptional education to a diverse student body, cultivating in students intellectual curiosity, collaboration, respect for others, and a passion for excellence. We are project-based, constructivist, and focus intensely on literacy and numeracy.

Albany Community Charter School is a community - a family - of learners, guardians, caregivers, and educators. We are a tuition-free, public K-8. But you must apply to join our community. We offer a longer learning day and longer school year. We emphasize respect and character education in addition to reading, writing and mathematics. Our students wear uniforms.
