Detectology is a U.S.-based medtech startup advancing next-generation liquid biopsy through a proprietary nanowire-based cfDNA isolation platform and AI-driven analytics. Our mission is to transform cancer diagnostics by enabling high-quality genomic insights from extremely small blood volumes—unlocking earlier detection, broader access, and more scalable testing across diverse healthcare settings. The Problem Despite rapid advances in oncology, one of the biggest challenges remains late detection—not lack of treatment. Current liquid biopsy workflows often require large blood volumes, complex infrastructure, and centralized laboratory processes. These limitations create barriers in real-world settings, particularly in: • Rural and underserved communities • Resource-limited healthcare systems • Clinical scenarios with restricted blood draw volumes (e.g., maternal health, elderly patients) As a result, diagnostic access is uneven, and critical opportunities for early intervention are missed. Our Solution Detectology has developed a nanowire-based device capable of isolating high-quality cell-free DNA (cfDNA) from as little as 50–100 µL of serum in approximately 30 minutes. This breakthrough enables: • Minimal sample volume requirements • Rapid, point-of-care compatible processing • High-efficiency capture of fragmented DNA, including epigenetic signals Our platform integrates three core components: 1. Nanowire cfDNA Isolation Device A proprietary material-engineered system designed to selectively capture cfDNA with high yield and integrity from ultra-low-volume samples. 2. Sequencing Integration Extracted cfDNA is processed through partner laboratories for next-generation sequencing (NGS), ensuring compatibility with established genomic workflows. 3. AI-Driven Analytics Platform Detectology applies machine learning to analyze both genetic and epigenetic patterns, enabling more comprehensive disease detection and monitoring.
