Destination Theater offers a first-class movie going experience for half the price. This newly renovated theater has been upgraded from top to bottom. Destination installed new digital projectors for both auditoriums, as well as a new Dolby Digital Surround Sound System. The seats have been refurbished, and cup holders have been added. Along with new curtains, new screens, new carpet and new concession equipment, the decades-old theater has taken on a new life. Destination Theater will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and will play both first-run and mid-run movies. Movie listings and show times can also be found on the theater's Facebook page, as well as by calling the movie line at 804.415.4000. Destination Theater provides entertainment that matters, because they believe in giving back to their community. They will be giving 10 percent of their profits away to local nonprofits, schools and other charitable organizations. The facility is also available to be rented for private events.
