DESPa Method Information

DESPA is a multidisciplinary consultancy firm dedicated to creating social good by helping individuals, organizations and governments work together in the design of their projects. Focusing on participation and behavioral science, we built a framework and a method to solve adaptive problems and build impactful evidence-based services and products. The team is composed by people with +10 years of experience in combining urban and business solutions. DESPA is formed by an interdisciplinary team with expertise in urban policy, behavioral economics, strategic design, finance and econometrics. We are extremely detail-oriented and prone to use the principles of scientific experimentation to test our solutions, prototype and scale. We believe that failing fast is an opportunity to learn, not an obstacle to progress. What DESPA stands for: Deep-Effective-Scalable-Participation is a new way of making people take part. After years of experience, we have measured and proven that involving citizens in the process of decision making helps governments and organizations to become stronger and more responsive.
