DesignNotes.com, Inc. Information

DesignNotes.com was founded out of a need to use the Internet to improve electronics and computer design through sharing. As the founder of DesignNotes.com, I have been a design engineer for the last 25 years and have been fortunate to have had outstanding recognition for it (see the Awards section). But I realized that I did not have the lock on all great designs or all creativity. During my career I needed help at times and it was from other's examples and teachers who paved the way before me that I was able to improve upon their designs and create whole new fields of technology and new cutting edge products. Because of reviewing other's patents, having had a mentor who gave of his time to teach me, an outstanding professor, or working side by side with highly creative individuals, I was able to improve my design skills. Now with the Internet, I figured I could learn from even a greater array of people. Unfortunately, there was no single site where I could go and ask questions, review other's designs to save time, find on-line tutorials, find cost effective design tools, equipment, and prototyping products to help me in my every day practice. So, I created this site to accomplish just that.
