Designedge is owned and operated by me Rick Ranum. In the very beginning the company was just an idea. An idea that Janice and I as partners turned into a thriving company. I started learning to create web pages as I retired from my Prana Energy business. I took a course at a local computer store to learn html. I'm still learning. Of course, back then I knew nothing. We started in 1999 in Lacey, Washington. in an out of the way office behind a cigar store and a new bakery. Then we moved down the road a short distance followed by buying a great little house on Homann that was zoned for a business. In 2005 we sold it and moved to the property we had recently purchased near the Olympia/Tumwater border. For most of our years in business, we provided primarily graphic design, print services, and websites. In a few years Designedge changed from a small startup to a very busy multi-employee environment. And then as time passed returned to a much smaller footprint as we semi-retired. An now the footprint is getting smaller, it is only me. I now collaborate with designers. My strength in collaboration comes from two decades of taking Janice's great designs and making them work as webpages. Over the course of two decades we had many clients and even this partial list of them is very impressive. And, keep in mind that Janice's expertise and creative talent is what produced a diverse and large range of quality design projects. Credit where credit is due.
