DESIGNBAR Information

Founded in 2009, DESIGNBAR is a commercial interior design firm based in Charlotte, NC. We design spaces for developers, hospitality groups, restaurant operators, and corporate clients — projects ranging from $50K renovations to $2M+ ground-up builds. Our work spans three sectors: Live (multi-family and hotels), Play (hospitality and restaurants), and Work (corporate offices). Across all three, the approach is the same: design that functions as well as it looks, delivered by a team that understands construction timelines, contractor coordination, and what it actually costs to do this right. Monika Nessbach, NCIDQ-certified and 16 years in the field, leads every project. We are based in Charlotte and work with clients regionally and nationally. We also support Second Chance Animal Rescue and the advancement of Women in Business.
