Ideally, you use these processes to create something new or overhaul something existing - reducing risk, costs and time to market on big challenges with multiple stakeholders who need alignment so the solution and way forward can be agreed to. Alternatively, there’s a lot of “running around in circles” as we create something new over here, don’t get signoff from stakeholders over there and don’t involve stakeholders way over there. In the end, things go on for months, they fall apart and people get frustrated and lose faith. Think of these innovative processes as your Insurance Policy for that.
