Design Concepts (formerly JRL Ventures, Inc.) was developed when marine industry veterans, J. Robert and Karen Long, purchased the established and respected design and tooling firm Marine Concepts from Augusto "Kiko" Villalon in 1994. Our history includes thousands of molds produced for the marine industry, Marine Concepts was the production facility behind the recognizable retro-style Twistee Treat ice cream buildings that serve ice cream today at over 80 locations throughout the United States.
