DESCOTE advanced bellows sealed technology for hazardous applications has accumulated 50 years experience and knowledge in manufacturing high integrity valves for the chemical, agrochemical, petrochemical, and nuclear industries involving halogens. DESCOTE valves are designed and manufactured to address the safety and reliability standards required by processes and production units such as chlor-alkali, isocyanates, refrigerants, HF-alkylation, UF6, VCM, as well as EO, HCN, NH3… Metal bellows, welded to the stem and bonnet, provides a continuous metallic barrier between the process fluid and the atmosphere to achieve zero emission. DESCOTE offers a full range of manual, actuated shut-off and control bellows sealed globe valves for all dangerous, corrosive, inflammable, pyrophoric, noxious media and all category M fluids as per ASME B31.3. DESCOTE valves are in compliance with European Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/UE) and are listed in CoP (Phillips) and UOP HF-Alkylation process design specification manual. DESCOTE valves are approved by EuroChlor for use on liquid chlorine, SIL 3 capable certified and Zero Fugitive Emissions acc. to EN ISO 15848-1. DESCOTE valves are manufactured according to ASME B16.34, ASME B31.3 category M, API 600, EN 12 516-1, DIN EN 12 516-2, BS 1873, GB 12224 and JIS B8265 standards. The expertise in the use of materials such as high purity carbon steels, stainless steels, duplex alloys, Monel®, Inconel®, Hastelloy® … offers the advantage to propose a valve adapted to the requirements of each customer.
